  • Notes: This is a composite of three images using a combination of Registar and Photoshop; the transparency improved with each night which resulted in a "false" lengthening of the ion tail; the ion tail near the top of the image is almost seven degrees long; IC1805, the Heart and Soul Nebula, is visible below the comet.
