- Exposure: 30 min. @ f/2.8
- Lens: SMC Pentax 165 mm f/2.8
- Camera: Pentax 67
- Film: Fuji Provia 100F, pushed 1 stop
- Location: Ritter Butte, Oregon
- Date: 02-Feb-2005 @ 23:30 PST
- Scanned by: Tony Hallas
- Notes: The ion tail is approximately 6 degrees long; IC 1805, the Heart and Soul Nebula, NGC 884 and 869, the Double Cluster, are visible below and to the right of the comet; tracking was on comet which allowed for a longer exposure; used a combination of Photoshop and PixInsight LE to bring out the tail and remove the vignetting.
