- Exposure: 90 min. @ f/5.0
- Lens: Takahashi FSQ-106N
- Camera: Pentax 67
- Film: Fuji Provia 100F, pushed 1-stop
- Location: Ritter Butte, Oregon
- Date: 08-Feb-2005 @ 20:30 PST
- Scanned by: Tony Hallas
- Notes: The trailed stars are due to guiding on the comet; an onslaught of cirrus throughout the exposure led to a diminished ion tail; despite this fact, a faint ion tail can be traced out to around 4 degrees; a close-up view can be found here; used a combination of Photoshop and PixInsight LE to bring out the tail and remove the vignetting.
