- Exposure: 10 minutes @ f/4.0
- Lens: SMC Pentax 300 mm f/4.0 EDIF
- Camera: Pentax 67
- Film: Fuji Provia 400F, pushed 1-stop
- Location: Ritter Butte, Oregon
- Date: 14-May-2004
- Notes: Conditions were very poor in the Pacific Northwest during the comet's prime viewing window; I had two opportunities, and even then I was battling high clouds; despite this fact, the ion tail spans approximately 10 degrees; in addition, there appears to have been a tail disconnect in the recent past.
