- Notes: A wide-field image of the Rosette and Cone Nebula regions; this image was cut short due to cold feet in the field; the temperature was a "toasty" -5F (-21C) at the conclusion of imaging for the night; although difficult to see at this resolution, the number of stars captured in this image is 275,565 which is my second highest star count; the first place prize goes to an image of IC 1396 I took in the Summer of 2005 with 292,717 stars.
